The Department of Computer and Communication Engineering, School of Computer Science & Engineering, proposes to organize a two-day interdisciplinary workshop titled "Empowering Educators & Staff: Real-World Applications of RDBMS and Excel" in collaboration with the HR department. This two-day expert talk is designed to equip teaching and non-teaching staff with practical skills in Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and Microsoft Excel to enhance productivity, accuracy, and data-driven decision-making in the academic environment. Participants will learn how to organize, manage, and retrieve information efficiently using RDBMS, as well as how to analyse, visualize, and present data effectively with Excel's powerful tools. To this end, we have planned two days of expert lectures. We seek approval from the competent authority at MUJ to proceed with this initiative. Through interactive sessions, real-life institutional examples, and hands-on exercises, attendees will discover how to streamline administrative tasks, manage academic records, and create insightful reports that support both teaching and operational excellence. Whether it's managing student information, tracking performance, or preparing institutional data for accreditation and reporting, this workshop will provide the knowledge and confidence to handle data more efficiently.
