The Department of Electrical Engineering, School of Engineering, Manipal University Jaipur organized an International Seminar on “Magnetic Photonic Opal/Fe₃O₄ Glasses Application” in online mode. The seminar was delivered by Dr. Jesus Edurado Lugo, University of Montreal, Canada, an expert in advanced photonic and magnetic materials.

Dr. Lugo discussed the fundamental principles, fabrication techniques, and emerging applications of magnetic photonic opal and Fe₃O₄-based glass materials, highlighting their relevance in sensing, optoelectronics, and smart material systems.
