The Department of Electrical Engineering, in collaboration with E-Cell, MUJ, organized a workshop titled “Journey Towards a Greener Future: Interaction on Sustainability.” The session focused on sustainability challenges and solutions, renewable energy, sustainable mobility, and practical applications. Led by Sushil Reddy, an alumnus of IIT Bombay and HEC Paris with notable experience including a Guinness World Record for the longest electric bicycle journey, the workshop provided valuable insights into sustainable technologies and e-mobility. Key topics included hands-on exposure to electric vehicles and renewable energy systems, the use of technology in education, and real-world sustainability projects. Participants learned about e-mobility infrastructure, policies, and environmental benefits. The speaker connected theory with practice through case studies and personal experiences, inspiring attendees to contribute to a greener future. After the session, the speaker demonstrated the charging mechanism of his electric vehicle (car). Students actively engaged with curious questions, which were addressed through detailed explanations and demonstrations of various vehicle components. The interaction concluded with the speaker distributing souvenirs to the students, fostering a memorable and motivating experience.
