We are pleased to share that Dr. Syed Sadique Anwer Askari from department of ECE, Manipal University Jaipur will be part of upcoming NPTEL course, “Modeling and TCAD Simulation of Solar PV Cell,” conducted by Prof. Mukul K Das from the Department of Electronics, Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, as a Teaching Assistant (TA).

- About the Course
The course is designed to give participants a deep physical and intuitive understanding of solar cells, along with insights into the technological advancements that shape today’s state-of-the-art solar structures.
It covers essential physical phenomena such as carrier transport, recombination losses at interfaces and surfaces, optical losses, and contact losses—key to building accurate models. By the end of the course, participants will be able to develop their own TCAD simulation code and propose innovative solar cell designs.

Pre-Requisites: Class XII Science stream (background in Semiconductor Device Physics is a plus)
