The expert lecture cum workshop on "Building Construction Practices in the 21st Century", conducted on 23rd April 2025 as part of the Building Construction and Materials IV course, was a significant academic initiative aimed at providing 2nd Year B.Arch. students with a comprehensive understanding of the technical and functional aspects of building construction. Delivered by industry expert Ar. Sandeep Singh, the session addressed critical topics such as types of construction, primary structural components of a building, types of flooring, and the process of architectural documentation and coordination.

By bridging theoretical knowledge with practical applications, the talk equipped students to tackle the complexities of modern building construction practices while promoting sustainable and innovative design strategies.
