SA&D + Heritage Club: A Day in Ahmedabad- Patan: Study Tour Day 4

A study tour was organized by School of Architecture & Design (MUJ) in collaboration with Heritage Club, for the students of Bachelors of Architecture, Manipal University Jaipur. The students of 1st, 2nd and 3rd year B.Arch received an opportunity to study the architectural and socio-cultural aspects of various cities including Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Ahmedabad, Bhuj, Dholavira and Mount Abu. Ahmedabad, being a UNESCO World Heritage City has a lot to offer to the students of architecture, from its architectural marvels ranging from historic era to the contemporary ones innovating new construction technologies and details just about on a daily basis. A visit to Modhera Sun Temple and Rani ki Vav (UNESCO World Heritage Site) near Ahmedabad offered a glimpse into the exquisite ancient Indian architecture and rich cultural heritage, showcasing intricate carvings and historical significance.
