Dr. Aliaksei Laureshyn is an Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer at Lund University. His academic work centers on traffic safety, road engineering, and the social dimensions of accident prevention. With an extensive portfolio of publications and research projects, Dr. Aliaksei investigates key areas such as vulnerable road users, bicycle safety, and data-driven approaches to improving transport infrastructure.
His research has a strong international focus, involving collaborations across Africa, Europe, and India to advance safer mobility systems. In addition, he has contributed to the academic community through leadership roles in international conferences and maintains alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in promoting safe and sustainable transportation.
