Welcome to the Teacher Empowerment Centre at Manipal University Jaipur, a dedicated space committed to fostering academic excellence and empowering educators. Our aim is to provide a holistic approach to faculty development, emphasizing the interconnectedness of effective teaching, technological integration, and impactful research. Led by experienced educators and industry experts, our programs offer the latest pedagogical techniques, technological advancements, and research methodologies. About the Directorate:
Manipal University Jaipur Teacher Empowerment Centre (MUJ TEC) was established in 2017 with a primary focus on advancing teacher training to facilitate their professional and personal growth. Empowering educators with a sense of efficacy enables them to actively participate and make meaningful contributions toward the realization of institutional goals and objectives. MUJ TEC, through a diverse range of programs, offers the teaching staff a platform for experiential learning and hands-on training delivered by experts, thereby nurturing their potential and fostering continuous professional development.
The training programs provided by MUJ TEC encourage teachers to collaborate, share innovative teaching and learning tools, apply strategies, utilize available resources, and acquire new skills. These initiatives enable educators to better address the needs of their students. Empowered and skilled teachers play a pivotal role in enhancing the overall learning outcomes of each student.

Objective of MUJ-TEC:
- To provide up-gradation of knowledge, skill and induction training to faculty members employed in all disciplines across Manipal University Jaipur.
- To organize Faculty Development Program (FDP) to cover areas like but not limited to education policy, new concepts, methods and techniques, theory and skills development and up-gradation of pedagogy, educational technology, motivation, communication skills, management and other relevant issues to keep pace with the changing scenario in Education.
- To enhance the teaching and other skills of the faculty.
- To make them aware about modern teaching tools and methodologies.
- To provide an opportunity to acquire knowledge about current developments in relevant fields.
- To promote the professional practices relevant to higher education.
- To motivate the faculty to achieve competitive teaching and learning environment, thus channelizing development with respect to academic qualifications and personal matters.

FAQ
Any faculty can apply for Nucleus membership of MUJ TEC by filling the self-nomination form when the IJP is floated by the University.
Nucleus members are selected based on their commitment to faculty development and their experience in educational initiatives. Interested faculty members can express their interest by contacting the TEC director and provide a statement of interest.
Information about upcoming events is regularly updated on the TEC website and the university's internal communication email (Exchadmin). Faculty members can also follow MUJ TEC on social media for regular updates.
The events are primarily intended for the faculty members of Manipal University Jaipur. However, depending on the nature of the event, external faculties and academicians may also be invited to participate.
The TEC conducts a wide range of events including Faculty development program, workshops, seminars, webinars and training sessions. These events cover diverse topics such as innovative teaching methodologies, educational technologies, curriculum development, and personal development.
Most events organized by the TEC are free for the faculty members of Manipal University Jaipur. In cases where there are fees, it will be clearly mentioned in the event details.
