Department of Languages has organised - Online Workshop on "The Art of Story Telling and Getting Published" on 15th Feb. 2021 at 2:30 PM- 5 PM.
An online workshop cum interactive session on The Art of Story Telling and Getting Published was organized on MS Teams on 15 February 2021 by the Department of Languages for the students of BA (Hons) English, MA (English), and Ph.D. scholars of the Department of Languages, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Manipal University Jaipur. Ms. Salini Vineeth, a fiction writer and novelist from Bangalore, India, was invited as the expert to conduct the workshop. Ms. Vineeth has worked for ten years as an engineer before turning to full-time writing in 2018. Since then, she has published four books - Magic Square (novella), Everyday People (short story collection), travel guides for Hampi and Badami. She has also published several stories on anthologies by Ukiyoto publishers, Eka Publications, The Hive, Anonymous Writer, and Literatures Light. Her short story collection Everyday People was the finalist in the Amazon Pen2Publish contest 2019. She is a winner of the eShe short story contest both in 2020 and 2019. Her stories have appeared in magazines like Kitaab International, The Bombay Review, eShe Magazine, and Inspitale.
