On 29th August 2024, the Department of Economics organized an industrial visit to Bhamashah Technohub in Jaipur for both Bachelor's and Master's students of economics. Bhamashah Technohub, known as the country's largest startup incubation hub, is a state-of-the-art facility that plays a pivotal role in bolstering the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Rajasthan. The visit was aimed at providing students with firsthand experience of a professional startup environment, enabling them to witness the intersection of economics and entrepreneurship in a real-world setting.
2. Objective of the Event
The primary objective of this industrial visit was to expose students to the dynamic world of startups and entrepreneurship. By visiting Bhamashah Technohub, students were given the opportunity to understand how economic theories and principles are applied in the context of business incubation and innovation. Entrepreneurs shared their journeys, challenges, and the role that the Technohub played in their growth. The session provided students with practical insights into the entrepreneurial process, from ideation to execution. Furthermore, students had the opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussions about the economic impact of startups on regional development.
