Applications are invited from the Indian Nationals for the position of JRF for a research project funded by Department of Science and Technology at Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) with the following details:

Details of research

work

The project work deals with conversion of waste tyres into high end commercial products using advanced thermo-chemical technology integrated with downstream upgradation techniques. The work requires utilization of this solid waste for production of high value chemicals and fuel as part of circular economy.

Eligibility

B. Tech/M. Tech in Chemical Engineering or equivalent discipline with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) in UG and PG. Eligibility for JRF as per OM DST/PCPM/Z-06/2022 dated 26th June 2023 will be applicable.

Age limit Not more than 35 years
Desirable

Preference will be given to candidates meeting the following:

  • GATE qualified.
  • Proficiency in English language.
  • Knowledge of thermochemical processes and characterisation of materials.
  • Publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
Duration 1 year (extendable to another 2 years based on performance) The appointment will be purely temporary on contract basis.
Fellowship Rs. 37,000/- per month, plus 18% HRA (as per DST rules)
