Admission Procedure

B. Tech Programme

 

1. MET 2019 Rank Holders

        The candidate must have passed 10+2 or A Level or IB or American 12th grade or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics and         English as Compulsory subjects, along with any one of Chemistry or Computer Science or Biotechnology or Biology or Statistics or Engineering         Drawing as optional subject for admission to B Tech, with minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics and the optional subject, put         together.

2. Direct Admission to the B Tech Programme    

        For direct admission (in branches where seats are likely to remain vacant) the following candidates will be eligible:

        All remaining MET 2019 rank holders, i.e., those who did not/could not come for counseling

        OR

        All students who have a JEE rank and have qualified for JEE Advanced in that year

        OR

        All other Students with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects and who have 50% or equivalent (in PMX subjects) in their         12th std. (where X could be Chemistry/Computers Science/ Biotechnology/Biology/Statistics/ Engineering Drawing).

 

B. TECH (LATERAL ENTRY)
Candidates are admitted directly to second year, who have passed 3 year diploma in relevant field of Engineering/BSc (PCM) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate can apply for Lateral Entry to B Tech Programmes.

Counselling Procedure

During counselling all candidates are required to produce the original and two sets of photocopies of the documents as mentioned below. Candidates are warned against submitting colour photocopies in lieu of the original marks cards. Original marks cards which are laminated will not be accepted by the University. Any fraudulent original marks cards, incorrect or untrue information or suppression or distortion of any fact in the original marks card, admission/ degree of the candidate is liable for cancellation. Failure to produce the document/s on the day of admission or by the date specified for this purpose will result in instantaneous forfeiture of the seat.

 

Documents to be produced

For Undergraduate programmes

  • E-Hall Ticket (for online entrance test courses only)
  • 10th standard marks card for proof of date of birth
  • Marks card and Passing Certificate of 10+2
  • Conduct and Character certificate to be obtained on the School/College letter head/pad. No other certificate in lieu of this will be accepted
  • Transfer Certificate or School/College Leaving Certificate issued by the School/college. No other certificate in lieu of this will be accepted
  • Four recent and identical passport size photographs and one stamp size photograph.
  • Migration Certificate
  • NATA score card (for B Arch applicants only)
  • Diploma marks card and Diploma certificate from the board/University (for Lateral entry applicants only)

  • Medical Fitness Certificate Click here for Format
  • Aadhaar Card
  • PAN card of parents 

For Post-Graduate programmes

  • Marks cards of Graduation(all semesters/years) Degree certificate or Provisional pass certificate issued by the University
  • Diploma certificate and marks card (for Lateral entry applicants only)
  • Conduct and Character certificate to be obtained on the College letter head. No other certificate in lieu of this will be accepted.
