Flambé and Gueridon Workshop
The School of Hotel Management conducted a Flambé and Gueridon workshop for all the students of the BHM program on January 19, 2018. This workshop was conducted as part of the industry-academic interface initiative adopted by the School of Hotel Management, MUJ, under the leadership of the HoD, Prof Manoj Srivastava.
Chef Jaikishan was invited to conducted the workshop as he is an expert in Flambé and Gueridon. Chef Jaikishan has an experience spanning more than 27 years. He has worked with the TAJ Group for 10 years in locations like Agra and Dubai. He has also worked in Switzerland for 5 years. Chef Jaikishan, also has ample teaching experience and has taught at IHM, Jodhpur as well as Gyan Vihar University.
On behalf of SHM, Dr Sonal Karnik ably organized the workshop with enthusiastic support from Mr Mukesh Shekhar and Dr Gaurav Bhattacharya.
The Dean FoMC, Prof Nilanjan Chattopadhyay and the Director SHM, Prof Amit Jain attended and appreciated unique workshop and the enthusiasm of the students in learning new skills and techniques. The students very appreciative regarding the demonstration and the cake tasting and thanked the expert for the demonstration and knowledge sharing.
