Prof. (Dr.) Sushil Kumar Rai is an alumnus of Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, UP. He has completed Ph.D. from Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi. Dr. Rai has over 20 years of teaching and industry experience. Dr. Rai has served various media organizations (Print & Electronic) with a rich experience of reporting and editing. He has successfully supervised four (04) research scholars and published 35 research papers in National and International Journals of repute, authored two (02) Books, 15 Chapters for different Books and over 50 Articles in newspapers and magazines. He has also presented papers in 40 National and International Seminars/ Conferences. He has attended more than 50 Webinars, 16 National Workshops/ FDPs in various capacities of Resource Person/ Chairman/ participant. Dr. Rai has organized 10 National Seminars/Conferences, 10 National FDPs, 12 National Workshops and 5 National Media Fests. He is associated with several prestigious academic bodies and a member of other editorial boards and media associations. He has been Political & Media Analyst in Uttarakhand news channel HNN24X7 for 6 years. He is an active member of IAMCR and the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI), Dehradun Chapter. He has also been conferred with eight (08) Excellence Awards in various categories, including the Best Teacher Award–2023 of Uttarakhand State, presented by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami.
