The Department of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (DLASS), in collaboration with the Holistic Health Yoga Club, Manipal University Jaipur, successfully organized a three-day International Hands-on Workshop on “Optimal Peak Performance in the Light of Suryanamaskar, Ultimate Diet and Ashtanga Kriyas” from 9th to 11th March 2026. The workshop was conducted by Krzysztof Stec, Senior Lecturer at Jan Dlugosz University, Poland. The workshop included a series of interactive lectures, demonstrations, and practical sessions focusing on Surya Namaskar, Sukshma Vyayaam, yogic diet principles, Ashtanga-based kriyas, pranayama, and relaxation techniques. Participants actively engaged in hands-on activities designed to enhance their understanding of the scientific and practical aspects of yoga for achieving optimal physical performance, mental clarity, and holistic well-being. The sessions emphasized the importance of adopting yogic lifestyle practices for improving physical fitness, managing stress, and maintaining overall health. The workshop provided an enriching learning experience for students and faculty members by combining traditional yogic wisdom with modern scientific perspectives, encouraging participants to integrate these practices into their daily lives for long-term wellness and performance enhancement.
