On 9th February 2026, the Department of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, School of Arts (SoA), FoMCA, Manipal University Jaipur, organized an insightful guest lecture on the theme “Role of Physical Education and Sports in the Development of Personality.” The session was delivered by Dr. Renu Das, Associate Professor, Department of Physical Education, Government Degree College, Mant, Mathura (U.P.). The lecture emphasized the psychological dimensions of sports participation, highlighting how physical education contributes to the development of self-confidence, discipline, leadership, emotional control, stress management, and social adjustment. The session was interactive and academically enriching, supporting the BPES curriculum (PES1202 – Sports Psychology) by connecting theoretical concepts with practical experiences and real-life examples.
