Workshop on Project SHIELD

The Department of Media, Communication and Fine Arts, Manipal University Jaipur, in collaboration with India Today, successfully organized a workshop on Project SHIELD, a unique initiative aimed at educating students about the rising threat of cyber fraud.

Held on 18th February 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Dr. TMA Pai Auditorium, the workshop featured Mr. Bal Krishna, Head of Fact Check Visual Investigation at India Today Group, as the resource person.

The workshop aimed to raise awareness and equip students with the knowledge to handle cyber fraud risks. Mr. Bal Krishna shared valuable insights on identifying and preventing cyber threats, empowering students to stay safe online.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from students, who benefited from the expert guidance and interactive sessions.
