The Expert Lecture on the theme "The Golden Era of Indian Economy: Opportunities and
Challenges Ahead" talks about the shift in the Indian Economy. This is a time of immense
potential and promise to recognize the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. The efforts
to address the challenges and seizing the opportunities, India can truly make this period a
"Golden Era" of prosperity, development, and well-being for all its citizens. It's a time for
vision, determination, and inclusive growth. The session began with the Expert Lecture by
the Guest Prof. Vishwanath Bhat who talked to the audience about the important themes of
Indian Economy with respect to the "Atma Nirbhar Bharat" and the promising Future that
India holds as an Economy. Prof. Bhat talked about the current scenarios about the start-ups,
entrepreneurship, India as a Global Power, Make in India Mission and its special relevance
during the Covid Times. Sir talked about the Four "F Crises" ranging from Food, Fuel,
Fertilizers and Finance. He also talked about the future trends in terms of the transitions that
included digital transformation, green economy, demographic transition, energy transition,
supply chain transition etc. He emphasized that India is a young country and thus there are
immense opportunities for India being a Great Start-Up Capital in the world. He mentioned
that India is the Talent Factory of the world. The session was highly interactive as there were
questions from the Faculty Members and Research scholars in the audience.
