Two-Day HANDS-ON TRAINING WORKSHOP ON "THEMATIC APPERCEPTION TEST"

The Thematic Apperception Test, TAT, is a projective test, which evaluates a person's patterns of thought, attitudes, observational capacity, and emotional responses by their response to ambiguous pictorial test materials. It taps into a subject's unconscious to reveal repressed aspects of personality, motives and needs for achievement, power and intimacy, and problem-solving abilities.

 

The purpose of the workshop was to provide hands-on training of administering, scoring and interpretation of the projective test for the students of MA/M.Sc. Clinical psychology. They learnt the skills of applying an important projective tool for psychological assessment. The resource person was Ms. Kamna Yadav is a RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) certified practicing Clinical Psychologist with the expertise in projective testing.
