Prof (Dr.) Anthony Savari Raj is the HoD, Department of Arts, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Manipal University Jaipur, with effect from 25th April 2024.

Prof. (Dr.) Anthony joined MUJ in June 2012 and has been one of the founding faculty members of MUJ. Prof Anthony obtained his PhD degree in Philosophy at University of Madras in 1995, where he has also served for more than a decade.

Prof. Anthony recently has had the honour of serving as ICCR Chair of Indian Studies (deputed by Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India) at the University of the West Indies, Jamaica, from Nov 2019 to Aug 2021.
