Teacher's Day Celebration by TAPMI School of Business
On 5th September 2018 students at TSB celebrated teachers day with full of zest and zeal. It was an auspicious day for the students to celebrate and thank their teachers, commemorating them for their constant support and guidance. The second year students of MBA at TSB organized the event along with constant help of their juniors. The event started post lunch in the conference room at 2 pm where all the teachers and students were gathered. The atmosphere was quite momentous as everyone were elated and looked forward for the event as it marks the day where the teachers were given the opportunity to have fun and create memories and to make the day theirs. Students were excited because they could see the other side of their mentors. The event began with melodious songs sung by the first year MBA students taking all the teachers down their memory lane. It was a medley of old retro songs, which reinvigorated everybody's mood.
After the medley, there was a small escape to the world of guesswork, where everybody had to guess the teacher given the cues. This game made students realize the uniqueness of each teacher and how each of them are important to complete the entire puzzle. It was followed by a memory testing game. The teachers had to observe the entire act and pen it down it in a correct sequel. There were two round. At the end of each round, teachers were given chits to choose. According to the chosen chits, teachers performed various acts such as mentioning the most common excuses students give to miss a class etc. This was followed by a poem recited by a first year MBA student, which described a teacher beautifully. The poem described the perseverance of a teacher of never giving up on their students no matter how difficult the situation is. In addition, the sacrifices made by them to mold a student for a better tomorrow. With that the event came to an with a cake cutting ceremony by all the teachers followed by a token of appreciation by the HOD on behalf of all the teachers for creating another beautiful memory to cherish by all.
