Expert Lecture on Block chain and Cryptocurrency

TAPMI School of Business has organized an expert lecture on "Block chain and Cryptocurrency' on 12/01/2019. Mr. Somesh Gupta, Head-Infosys, Jaipur center was the resource person of the expert talk.

Mr. Gupta is having more than twenty-five years of industry experience, BE from BHU, an IIM-C alumnae and a researcher in the domain of Block chain and Cryptocurrency.

While interacting with the students on the topic, he cleared the fog over cryptocurrency and block chain. He discussed the underlying technology and its development over a period. He shared with the students that though bitcoin is less than a decade phenomenon but it has caught the attention of the investors, traders and the even the government very fast. He discussed the origin of it and the anonymous nature of the backer of this currency.

While talking about bitcoin, he shared the meaning of block chain technology, the process and simplify, in a very interesting manner, the extensive use of the technology in diverse domain.

He also discussed about the Bitcoins, other digital currencies available in the market and the platforms dealing in such currencies. Students interacted with him about the legality of these type of currencies and hype created around it. It was a very interactive and valuable session , which everyone enjoyed to its fullest.
