School Connect Program organized by School of Business and Commerce

School of Business and Commerce organized a school connect program on 27th feb 2019. The event was conducted at Smt Kamla Devi Budhiya Government School, Ajmer Road. Four faculty members from School of Business and Commerce Dr. Mahesh Jampala, Dr Nupur Ojha, Mohd Zeeshan Qadri and Ms Nishu Gupta coordinated the event along with Ms Swati Prajapat and couple of students from the department.

The event was divided into three parts. At the start, a lecture on "Importance of Savings and various types of Investment" was delivered to enhance financial literacy amongst the students. The students of class XI interacted with the faculty members and developed an insight into different savings and investment avenues. After the interactive lecture, a quiz was conducted. The theme of the quiz was current social affairs of the country. Students actively participated in the quiz show and immensely enjoyed the session. Through this quiz an effort was made to make the students aware of the current affairs and issues.

At the end of the event, management games were organized for the students. The games were targeted at developing concentration and team work. These games were conducted in few rounds and every student present, was made to participate in them. The level of zeal and enthusiasm amongst the students while playing these games was incomparable. Chocolates were distributed to all the students who participated in the event.

At the conclusion, a flower token of thanks was presented to the principle of the school Mr. Surendra Singh. He also appreciated the efforts of the team for conducting the event and interacting with the students.
