Industrial Visit to AMUL

An Industrial Visit was organized by Department of Business Administration-School of Business & Commerce to AMUL (Vrindavan Dairies) at Bassi Industrial Area-Jaipur 13 March, 2019. 40 students of BBA II Year visited the place along with 2 faculty members. Mr. Nitin Bisht, Sales Manager of the unit coordinated the whole visit. Students were divided into two groups for understanding the process of making milk, curd and by-products. 

 

Both the groups were headed by Mr. Laxmi Narayan Ji (Head-Quality) & Mr Chandrabhan Ji- (Plant In charge). They explained the process how milk is brought from Gujarat, Banas and the other areas and how milk is being bifurcated in Full Cream, Tonned and Double Tonned through tanks. The further steps for making as Electronic Milk Test, Methyline Blue Reduction Test, Pasteurizing and Standardizing, Separation Process, Quality Check, Packaging Process and Storage were meticulously explained by the group heads.

The plant was fully-automated and an interactive session was held between students and Head-Quality. Students asked their queries related to , cleaning of instruments and tanks, safety measures, segregation of milk at village level etc. The hospitality of AMUL (Vrindavan Dairies) was effective and was congenial. The visit was coordinated by Dr. Sunny Dawar & Dr. Patni.
