Faculty Development Program on Research Methodology

About the FDP

Keeping the significance of research methodology into account, an FDP was conducted at TSB for existing and potential research scholars, faculty members and industry practitioners so that they can hone their research acumen. The FDP attempted to provide some practical training so that the rigor and quality of research among the researchers enhances.

Objectives of the FDP

To impart knowledge about statistical concepts and their practical implementation in research based projects.

To sensitize the researchers regarding the application of advance multivariate analyses such as CFA and SEM.

Resource Persons

During the seven days of the FDP following resource persons delivered session on various topics;

Dr Arun Kumar Deshmukh, Assistant Professor, TAPMI School of Business, Manipal University, Jaipur

Precise Participants Detail

A total of 56 participants have participated in the FDP of whom 14 were faculty members from Manipal University Jaipur whereas Other candidates were different institutes such as EDII Ahmedabad, DIPR New Delhi, Mody University, IIHMR University, RTU Kota, TMBU Bhagalpur, Andhra University, University of Rajasthan, ICFAI University, NIMS University, GLA University, Meerut University and so on. The wide geographic spread of the participant made it a national workshop in the true sense. The fee for the FDP was kept very low so that it can benefit majority of the scholars from BoP sections.
