Legal Awareness Camp

School of Law, Faculty of Arts and Law organized one day 'Legal Awareness Camp' in collaboration with District State Legal Service Authority Jaipur Metropolitan, Jaipur on March 24, 2018 at Atal Seva Kendra, Panchayat Bhawan, Dehmi Kalan.

With the effective participation of law students around 100 villagers visited the camp and discussed their issues. Prof Mridul Srivastava, Dean, Faculty of Arts & Law, addressed the villagers and emphasized on the Legal Awareness for attaining Social and Economic Justice.

Dr Vijay Laxmi Sharma, Head, Department of Law and Shri Satya Prakash Soni, Secretary Legal Service Authority of the District also highlighted the Legal Rights on various issues- property dispute, domestic violence, electricity & water supply dispute, sanitation rights of the villagers and such other matters. Faculty of law along with the students one-on-one interacted with the villagers and guided them for the legal procedures for the matter of their disputes and issues. Dr Sony Kulshrestha and Ms Sushila Choudhary, faculty of members of School of Law efficiently coordinated the event.
