LEGAL AWARENESS CAMP ON POLICY IMPLEMENTATION IN LEGAL ISSUES

1. INTRODUCTION OF THE EVENT
On 18th January,2024, Pro Bono Club of Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) conducted a door-to-door survey of the residents of Jhalana Basti, Jaipur to find the challenges faced by the respondents in accessing basic needs and legal assistance to understand the hardships of the deprived sections of the society. In this survey, the law students of Pro Bono Club, School of Law, Manipal University Jaipur participated by visiting every household of the community and gathered data from 158 respondents related to legal issues and corresponding administrative and social issues encountered by them to avail basic facilities which are a part of their fundamental, legal and statutory rights. The survey was conducted with great care and attention to detail to ensure that accurate and reliable information was gathered. The results of the survey will be used to identify the areas where the residents of Jhalana Basti require the most support and assistance.
