1.     Introduction of the Event

Commercial Arbitration and Mediation are alternative methods of resolving disputes without going to court. They offer parties a private, efficient, and cost-effective way to settle their differences. Arbitration is a formal process where a neutral arbitrator hears both sides of the dispute and makes a binding decision, known as an award. The parties agree in advance to accept the arbitrator's decision as final and binding, usually through an arbitration clause in a contract. On the other hand, mediation is a less formal process where a mediator helps the parties reach a voluntary agreement. The mediator doesn't have the power to impose a decision but assists in facilitating a mutually satisfactory resolution. The agreement reached in mediation is enforceable only if it is reduced to writing and signed by both parties.
