LEGAL AWARENESS CAMP ON POLICY IMPLEMENTATION IN LEGAL ISSUES

1. INTRODUCTION OF THE EVENT

After successfully conducting Day 1 of the Legal Awareness on Policy Implementation Camp on 24^th January, 2024, the team organized Day 2 of the Camp on 25^th January, 2024, in the same venue, Jhalana Basti, to address further legal and administrative issues to discuss its solutions and remedies. One of the primary issues was the lack of awareness among the people about various government schemes that could potentially improve their living standards. Additionally, the team also discovered that many people in the area lacked government-issued cards such as Jan Aadhar, Cheernjeevi, and Mazdoor Dairy, and lack of redressal authority, which are essential for availing various government schemes and benefits, and seeking remedies. With the speaker's expertise in family and criminal law, the discourse aimed to provide practical solutions and actionable insights for the beneficiaries.
