Speaker 1 (8th March, 2021)

Ms. Sheela Barse - 

Ms. Sheela Barse is a veteran socio- legal activist and renowned journalist. She has been actively involved in safeguarding women rights in India. She is well known name in legal fraternity as she has filed several Public Interest Litigation in Hon'ble Supreme Court of India and various High Courts. Sheela Barse is often credited with introducing the concept of child rights in India. She played a major role in enactment of a uniform Juvenile Justice law in the 1980s, and led several public interest litigation cases before the Supreme Court of India.

 

 

Speaker 2 (10th March, 2021)

Mr. Siddharth Sijoria

Mr. Siddharth graduated from Amity -

Law School in 2015 and thereafter joined the Chambers of Constitutional Jurist, Late Mr. T.R Andhyarujina as an associate lawyer. In 2016, he was appointed by the Government of Maharashtra to represent the State before the Krishna River Water Dispute Tribunal. In 2017, he attended Central European University, Budapest to pursue a Masters in Comparative Constitutional Law with a merit-based scholarship. Mr. Siddharth has been practicing as an independent counsel before the Supreme Court of India and the High Court of Madhya Pradesh where he represents clients in constitutional, commercial and criminal cases. Besides practicing law, he teaches Constitutional law at Amity Law School, Gwalior as an Adjunct Faculty. His scholarly interests primarily focus on study of Constitutional Amendments. He is serving as a Peer Review Member for the State Law Magazine Constitutional Law, State University, Colombia.

 

Speaker 3 (14th March, 2021)

Dr. Aleksandr Alekseenko -

Dr. Aleksandr is an associate professor at the Department of Civil Law Disciplines of Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service and a visiting professor at the Law School of Far Eastern Federal University (Vladivostok). Also, he is a member of the Association of Lawyers of Russia and an independent expert accredited to conduct anti-corruption expertise of regulatory legal acts. Aleksandr received his LLM (with extension) from the Far Eastern Federal University and a PhD in-laws from the Ural State Law University (Yekaterinburg). He also studied the Chinese language at the Linyi Normal University. His expertise covers digital financial assets, international investment law, Russian business law, and Chinese business law. Aleksandr has more than 60 publications.

 

Speaker 4- (27th March, 2021)

Ms. Medha Srivastava-

Ms.Medha Srivastava is a PhD Scholar and Researcher at the Humboldt University of Berlin. Her areas of interest include constitutional and administrative law, more specifically judicial accountability and independence in India, as well as the comparative study of transparency in judicial systems. After graduating from the BCL from The University of Oxford in 2014, she has practised as an Advocate at the Supreme Court of India and later also worked at a legal policy think-tank in New Delhi, in the area of judicial reforms.
