Head, Department of Psychology

Dr Prashasti Jain as the Head, Department of Psychology, School of Allied Health Sciences, Faculty of Health Sciences, Manipal University Jaipur, with effect from August 1, 2026.

Dr Prashasti Jain is currently serving as Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology and has been an integral member of Manipal University Jaipur since September 2015. She has qualified the RPSC SLET examination in 2012 and holds a Ph.D. in Psychology (2016) from the University of Rajasthan, in addition to a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree. She has successfully completed SMILE 5.0 at MUJ and has guided three scholars to the successful award of their Ph.D. degrees. Her research contributions include numerous publications in Scopus-indexed journals and several scholarly book chapters.

Dr Prashasti holds certifications from NITI Aayog in Counselling and has completed professional certifications in Child Psychology, Art Therapy, and Metaphor Therapy. She also possesses an international professional certification in Criminal Profiling, Forensic and Investigative Psychology, and is a Certified Emotional Intelligence Trainer and Certified Soft Skills Trainer. An accomplished speaker, she has also been invited as a TEDx Speaker.
