At the Faculty of Health Sciences (FoHS), we believe in nurturing not just skilled professionals, but compassionate leaders who will shape the future of healthcare. Our mission is to provide an education that goes beyond textbooks and lectures—one that prepares students to think critically, act with empathy, and innovate to address some of the world’s most pressing health challenges. FoHS aims to create graduates who are prepared to make a meaningful impact, whether they are advancing medical science, improving patient care, or transforming mental health practices.
In the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences students dive into the world of drug discovery, development, and delivery, learning from experts who are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in medicine. With a focus on practical experience students gain the skills they need to contribute to the development of life-saving drugs that can improve the health of people worldwide. The students are also trained to become leaders in drug manufacturing either as corporate leaders or entrepreneurs.
At the same time, the School of Allied Health Sciences and the Department of Psychology explore the complexity of the human mind. We help our students address problems with a more detailed and concerned viewpoint by promoting awareness of the psychological, physiological, and social elements.
FoHS isn’t just about preparing students to be successful in their chosen fields—it’s about developing a sense of responsibility, a passion for service, and the desire to make a lasting difference in the world.
