Marieta SAFTA is a Professor Hab. Ph.D. at the Faculty of Law within the Titu Maiorescu University of Bucharest and a Member of the Doctoral School of the Faculty of Law within the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest. She teaches Constitutional Law and Political Institutions, as well as Constitutional Law of the European Union and Constitutional Justice in the European Union. Marieta Safta has been an Assistant Magistrate at the Constitutional Court of Romania since 2003, and the First Assistant Magistrate of the Court (2010-2022). She was a liaison officer of the Constitutional Court of Romania at the Venice Commission (2012-2017) and Secretary of State in the Ministry of Justice (2017-2018).
