The Gujarat Mahila Housing SEWA Trust invited the Dean, Faculty of Design, Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ), to provide technical advice on affordable housing layouts under PMAY. Faculty members visited the Mirasi Samaj community in Lakhesra Village, Jaipur, as part of an outreach activity. Architectural modules tailored to community needs and plot sizes were proposed, along with cost estimates, which were discussed with the residents for feasibility.
