The Master of Planning program at Manipal University Jaipur is designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and skills required for effective planning and management of urban and regional development. The program is aimed at creating professionals who can address the complex and dynamic challenges of the built environment, and design innovative solutions for sustainable and inclusive development.
The program curriculum covers a range of topics related to urban and regional planning, including urban design, transportation planning, housing, infrastructure planning, environmental planning, heritage conservation, disaster management, and governance. Students will also be introduced to emerging issues such as climate change, smart cities, and digital technologies, and their impact on planning practices.
The program is structured to provide students with hands-on learning experiences, through field visits, case studies, and real-world projects. Students will also have opportunities to collaborate with experts in the field, including practitioners, policymakers, and researchers, and engage in interdisciplinary discussions and debates.

The Master of Planning program at Manipal University Jaipur will be a two-year full-time program, comprising of four semesters.
The program will consist of a total of 28 courses, including 12 core courses, 6 elective courses, and 10 fieldwork, internship, and dissertation/thesis components.
Each semester will be of 16 weeks duration, including 14 weeks of teaching and 2 weeks of examinations.
The program will have a total of 92 credits, with each course carrying 3 to 4 credits.
The program will follow the AICTE guidelines for course content, teaching methods, and evaluation criteria, and will be reviewed and updated periodically based on industry feedback and emerging trends.
