The Constitution Day on 26.11.2020 was organised by Rajasthan Legal Services Authority, Jaipur to commemorate the 71st Indian Constitution Day.
The Rajasthan Legal Services Authority (RSLSA) invited all the District Legal Services Authorities (DLSAs) and various Legal Aid Clinics established by Centres of Legal Education in Rajasthan. The Legal Aid Clinic, School of Law, Manipal University Jaipur being recognised by RSLSA was invited for the event and the members and volunteers of Legal Aid Clinic, School of Law, Manipal participated in the event in huge numbers in the event which had in total 1000 participants.
The event started with welcome note by Learned Member Secretary, RSLSA in which he welcomed all the participants and lead emphasis significance of celebration of Constitution Day. The event followed by special address by Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sangeet Lodha, Judge, Rajasthan High Court and Executive Chairman, RSLSA in which His Lordship deliberated upon the constitutional framework and the means through which constitutional goals are to be achieved. His Lordship also laid emphasis on importance of Legal Aid and need for contribution by Legal Aid Clinics set up Centres of Legal Education.
The event concluded with vote of thanks by Ms. Archana Mishra, Learned Director, Rajasthan Legal Services Authorities, Jaipur.
