Emerging Technologies: Micro to Nano (ETMN) which was started in 2013 in India is a biennial International Conference. ETMN 2019 was the last version organized successfully by Department of Electronic Science & Physics, Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), Pune & Manipal University Jaipur jointly. With time it has gained acceptance at large among R&D Institutions and Industry to monitor Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of R&D in Micro and Nano domain of Science, Engineering and Technology. ETMN-2021 is in continuation to the series and is fifth version since its inception.

ETMN-2021 intends to provide a common platform for knowledge dissemination to researchers, academicians, practitioners and industrialists across the globe working in the various domains of Micro and Nano technologies. The conference aims to reach research and scientific scholars engaged in remote areas and bring them in mainstream in order to boost their confidence and vision in larger domain of applications.

The objective of the conference is to bring the academicians, scientists and technology developers together to discuss and deliberate on the challenges and issues in the development of technologies for Micro and Nano applications. These new technologies presumably will provide the solutions for challenges in sectors like energy, healthcare, environment, information technology, transportation, food safety, electronics, and textile etc. It is anticipated that knowledge sharing and deliberations in the conference will assist in enhancing the present technologies in the related domains.

Authors are invited to submit their original and unpublished work for the conference. All the accepted and presented abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings for local circulation after first round review based on extended abstract. A second-round review of full-length manuscript of the presented papers will be done after the conference for publication in Scopus indexed AIP on-line series conference proceedings (Tentatively). The paper acceptance and publication is a two tier review process in the conference. In the first step all the authors are invited to submit two page extended abstract. The abstract will be reviewed and accepted work will be presented. In the second stage post conference, registered authors of accepted and presented work will be asked to submit the full length paper for review for publication. The accepted paper at this stage will be forwarded for final publication in the AIP online series conference proceedings.
