OVERVIEW OF THE CLUB
Her Campus is an online magazine targeted at the female college student demographic. In today’s day and age, social media and journalism are the strongest tools a woman can use to voice her opinions and break out of the still prevalent patriarchy. Her Campus provides women a platform to make her voice heard in their online editorial and to conduct events solely focused on women empowerment.
OBJECTIVES OF THE CLUB
We see Her campus as the epitome of equality and empowerment which fuels our passion and gives us a platform to use our voices to bring about the change we have been wanting all this while. We wish to encourage more and more women to come forth and fight for their rights and empower and uplift each other. The Indian society has been ridden with patriarchy and we have been suppressed all this while and this exactly is what drives us towards the goal of using the fire within us to break the shackles that surround us.
VISION OF THE CLUB
We aim to discuss, deliberate and innovate as women who have a voice, an opinion and a passion to be the changemakers and not just wish for it.
