The School of Basic Sciences was established to teach courses in the basic sciences at the graduate, postgraduate and research levels. It is well equipped to carry out both teaching and research through its various departments, namely Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Biosciences & Computer Application.
The School also offers MSc by Research and PhD programs in the respective disciplines with syllabi for various core courses, which have been designed as a blend of core science and interdisciplinary topics. The school equips students in the basic sciences and applied sciences.

Manipal has very wonderful faculty and they are very cooperative and campus environment is very positive.
