Dear Students,


We are currently battling, perhaps, the biggest global challenge that we have seen in our lifetime yet. COVID-19 has spread to many countries and numerous people have been tested positive so far. Education and Businesses world over have been disrupted. There is a lot that we do not know, a lot that we are discovering and the uncertainty about the future weighs us all. Understandably there is a great sense of unease everywhere. It is changing everything about life and work. We are all focused on how to best protect and support our families, employees, students, and communities in the face of this unfolding crisis.


The MUJ family and the world in general – are in uncharted territory, and it is important that we remain calm, show solidarity and stand by each other in this difficult time. #TogetherWeWill


The current situation has given us an opportunity to find new ways of learning and delivering hope to do better in our lives. It was never thought that digital way of learning will pace up in such a way and will be adopted with this promptness by everyone. We thank you for being sincere for regular in online classes. We expected you to be with us in University by now for all reasons, but sometimes things do not work according to our wish and plans. You all know that, we have made difficult decision by postponing our final exams, academic and extracurricular activities during this time.


UGC has issued directives to all the universities regarding the Examinations and Academic Calendar. As per the guidelines, our university has constituted “COVID ’19 Cell @ MUJ” to make a comprehensive assessment of the current situation and chart out MUJ’s plan of action taking into consideration the issues pertaining to COVID – 19 Pandemic. The committee has deliberated on various issues by considering the local situation, student spread, nature of various academic programs and UGC guidelines to formulate the “Guidelines of Examinations and Academic Calendar” for our university.
