Dr Manish Tiwari Head, Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) with effect from December 16, 2018.

Dr Manish Tiwari did his PhD and M Tech in ECE from MNIT Jaipur andBE from NMU Jalgaon.  He is working as Professor in Department of ECE at Manipal University Jaipur since August, 2016.  He has more than 20 years of professional experience in various colleges and universities of repute. He has held posts like Principal, Director Academics, Head of Department and other Administrative and Academic positions in previous institutions. 

He has published more than 100 research papers in reputed journals, conferences, authored and edited around half a dozen of book chapters.  He has also supervised more than 29 students’ projects sponsored by DST Rajasthan. He has been General and Technical Chair, Convener, Technical Program Committee member of many IEEE and Springer conferences and reviewer of IEEE / Elsevier / OSA / Springer journals. He has been a visiting researcher to City University, London under UKIERI project in Micro-structured Optical Fibre during 2010-11 and Tsinghua University, Beijing during 2016.  He is presently Chairman of IETE Rajasthan Centre, Treasurer of IEEE Rajasthan Subsection and member of International councils and societies. His current research interest includes Micro / Nano-structure photonic devices, Photonic ICs, fibre optics, numerical modelling, nonlinear optics and photonic crystal fibres.
