International expert lecture on Contemporary trends in Communication Research

 Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, MUJ organized an international expert lecture on "Contemporary trends in Communication Research: Engaging students for Research Endeavour". The speaker of the event was Prof. (Dr.) Jatin Srivastava, Director Institute for International Journalism, Ohio University, USA. In this international lecture organized on 23 January 2024, Dr. Jatin Srivastava highlighted the ongoing research work in the field of media and communication. He said that publishing research in international research journals is a challenge today. During his lecture, he highlighted many aspects of research publication which will prove to be very beneficial for all students and researchers. The program formally began with the welcome address by Dr. Fakira Mohan Nahak, Head of the Department. Dean, of the Faculty of Arts, Dr. Komal Audichya and HoD, Dr. Fakira Mohan Nahak honored the chief guest by presenting him a memento. After this the chief guest addressed the gathering. At the end of the program, Professor Dr. Sushil Kumar Rai expressed his gratitude to all the students, teachers, and the chief guest.
